Public isn’t exactly eager to vaccinate children

A group calling itself La Clinica Transmedica recently sent out a survey to parents of “vaccine exempt” students asking for the identities of their supporters and their objection to vaccination. They sent the survey to all high schoolers in the area. (LA Beat)

On Obamacare, infrastructure and Congress: “I mean, pretty much the Obamacare repeal bill with a new name … definitely two or three of those are probably going to happen,” he said. He also said he believes infrastructure needs to be strengthened and improved, noting San Diego’s transportation system, which receives about $1.2 billion a year for maintenance, did not get upgrades made in the Regional Transit Authority’s proposed fiscal year 2017-2018 budget.

On Congress: Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California will leave office because she’s running for president. “She told me,” said Feinstein’s aide Michael Meyers. “In our 30 years of working together, she never told me that.” Feinstein was re-elected to a fifth term in 2014.
